WCIMUN '99

West Coast Invitational Model United Nations '99 was the last high school conference I attended as a delegate, and fittingly enough, it provided me with some of my favorite memories of MUN.  Along with Peter Goff, I represented the esteemed nation of Gabon in a Security Council chaired by The Venerable William Thomas Reynolds III.  Gabon is pleased.  Here are the conference highlights:

These are the notes I took while committee was in session.  While there are some images included, these notes are pretty raw — there's a lot of formatting and spelling errors.  There are also some inside jokes you might not understand, but hopefully you'll be able to get a few laughs nonetheless.

Have you ever seen a resolution with a picture?  Or one that discussed "props" and "aforementioned props"?  This resolution was a lot of fun to write and it got its point across, passing with a unanimous vote of 15-0-0.  Recognize.
